Love Never Ends Episode - 10

"Hey Hi.how was your reunion?" messaged Deep.

"Hi, It was very good indeed. And guess what, Akhil proposed to me!!"Riya exclaimed. Deep was taken aback for a second. He had not expected this coming. He tried to collect his words and replied "That's nice to know".

There was a long silence thereafter. He then asked, "So what have you decided? All is well now".

Riya replied that she was thinking over what he said and needed time to decide. Deep was happy for Riya but he felt worried and sad too. Akhil was not a person who could be trusted, he felt and didn't want Riya to be hurt again. He wished all happiness for Riya but he felt it would not be proper for him to advise her at that moment.

It was after two days he called Riya.

"Riya, I know how much you have missed Akhil and how much you would love to be with him. But I feel you should think before saying yes. You cannot get hurt again and again" He said with real concern.

Riya burst into laughter and said, "Relax Deep, I am not marrying Akhil. In fact, he never proposed to me. I was just joking. I wanted to understand your perspective. Even if he did propose I would not accept it as marriage is about love and commitment. I don't love Akhil anymore. Yes, but I have forgiven him and he would always be my childhood bestie."

Deep was perturbed and now he was surely angry with Riya. But he was relieved too. Riya then continued "I am happy with your concern. I am not sure whether my life will be blessed with love again. So Chill"

"How can a Shahrukh and Yash Raj film fan say so. Love will find its way. It never ends "Deep replied mischievously.

"Haan Haan, Kahin Na Kahin, koi na koi mere liye banaya Gaya hai ... aur Kabhi Na Kabhi main usse zaroor milungi" as Riya said this they both burst into laughter.

As they hung up the phone, Deep could not stop smiling. He surely loved her. How he wished to express it but not on phone. What about their age difference?. But love can happen at any time . What if she didn't like him.? It was ok even if she didn't love him. He did not want anything in return. He just wished to give her all happiness and above all he wished to be her friend. Someone whom she could trust always. He felt he should visit India soon.

Riya was in her best happy space. She thought about what Deep said. Would she really find real love in her life?? Can love happen twice? .The new year was near and she felt new happiness was on her way.

Come 2020 and Riya decided to fulfill the wish of her parents. She and Geet sat together and shortlisted some suitable proposals on the online matrimonial website. Riya thought it would be fun to meet and know new people.Also, who can say she would find love this way too.2- 3 meetings happened and every time after the meeting she felt the warmth and comfort missing. The conversations seem superficial. Was she expecting too much or was it that she was being excessively careful now ?. She always kept on comparing the conversations with Deep and her heart seem to rush towards him. Should she talk to Deep about this? She was perplexed.
